Change Your Accountant in Lithuania

Plan an accounting handover for your Lithuanian company: documents, opening balances, declarations, payroll data and access arrangements.

Changing accountant is a handover of records and responsibilities

A clear transition date is only the beginning. Your new accountant needs the documents, balances and reporting history required to continue the work. We organise the transfer around a document list and the company's next accounting deadlines.

The handover checklist

  • Accounting documents and their archive.
  • Accounting-system exports and opening balances.
  • Customer and supplier balances.
  • Payroll and employee information.
  • Stock and fixed-asset records where applicable.
  • Submitted declarations and financial reports.
  • Required access arrangements.

Agree who completes each period

Identify the last period covered by the previous accountant and the first period we will take over. Check upcoming payroll and declaration dates so tasks do not fall between the two providers.

If information is missing

We list the missing records and identify what is needed for the immediate work. A more detailed review or restoration of earlier accounting may require a separately agreed scope.

After the transfer

We agree the new document schedule and communication process, then continue with regular bookkeeping. In your enquiry, mention the proposed transition date and the current state of the accounts.
