Accounting organised around your UAB
We retain the Lithuanian legal-form abbreviation UAB in accounting records and communications. The accounting workload depends on what the company does, rather than its legal form alone: sales, purchases, employees, assets and international transactions all matter.
What the service can cover
- Recording purchase and sales documents and bank transactions.
- Monitoring customer and supplier balances.
- Accounting for fixed assets and stock where relevant.
- VAT accounting and declarations where applicable.
- Payroll calculations and related accounting.
- Preparation of annual financial statements.
Information needed from management
Provide the company's activity description, VAT status, employee numbers and approximate monthly document volume. During ongoing cooperation, tell your accountant about new contracts, financing, assets or unusual transactions before the reporting deadline.
Starting work or transferring the accounts
For an existing UAB, we agree the handover date and collect opening balances, accounting exports and prior declarations. For a new company, we establish the document flow before transactions build up. See changing accountant or accounting for new companies.
