Tax consultations for businesses

We evaluate the specific situation of the company, the circumstances of the transaction and accounting data and help to understand possible tax obligations and the sequence of actions.

Tax consultation must start with a specific situation

A tax question often cannot be reliably resolved by a single sentence or general rule alone. It is important to understand the nature of the transaction, the parties, the documents, the amounts, the period and how the transaction relates to the company's operations.

Therefore, during the consultation, we first collect the factual circumstances and only then evaluate possible accounting and tax actions.

What issues do we advise on?

  • VAT application and accounting issues.
  • Accounting of benefits of the company and owners or members.
  • Employee and payroll tax matters.
  • Accounting and tax assessment of specific transactions.
  • Accounting for fixed assets and other significant transactions.
  • Accounting for foreign transactions.
  • Inconsistencies between declarations and previous periods.

What information is required for consultation?

The more precisely the actual situation is described, the more useful the consultation can be. Usually, information is required about the transaction, its participants, date, amounts, documents and how the transaction has already been or is planned to be recorded in the accounting.

When relevant, please provide invoices, contracts or other documents that allow an accurate assessment of the circumstances.

VAT issues often depend on the structure of the transaction

When assessing VAT, it is important to know not only the amount of the transaction, but also who the buyer and seller are, where the transaction takes place, what product or service is provided and what VAT status the parties to the transaction have.

If a company needs ongoing control of VAT documents and declarations, a VAT accounting service is intended for that.

Consulting and permanent accounting are different services

The purpose of the consultation is to help solve a specific tax or accounting issue. During permanent accounting, all company documents, declarations and other accounting processes are periodically processed.

If a permanent solution is required, more information can be found on the page monthly accounting.

If during the consultation it becomes clear that the problem arises from the accounting of previous periods, it may first be necessary to determine the scope of the discrepancy.

In such cases, a check of accounting may be relevant or, if accounting has not been maintained for a long time, management of neglected accounting.

How does the tax consultation work?

  1. We get a description of the question and the facts.
  2. We evaluate the necessary documents and additional information.
  3. We are analyzing the situation from an accounting and tax point of view.
  4. We explain the possible actions and their sequence.
  5. If necessary, we coordinate further accounting work.
